Citizens for Long-Term Care

For the past two years, ANCOR has been working with an alliance of national organizations—Citizens for Long Term Care (CLTC). The effort, headed by former Senator David Durenberger (R-MN), is a collaboration of over sixty major national organizations representing all segments of the long term care (services and supports) debate. CTLC includes consumer groups, the disability community, care providers, insurers, unions, women's groups, and business interests. However, due to the broad range of organizations, Citizens for Long Term Care agreed early on that it was committed solely to raising the issue of long-term services, not proposing specific legislative solutions.
