St. Coletta of Wisconsin, a nonprofit leader in providing residential and vocational services to adults with developmental disabilities in southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, has an excellent opportunity for an energetic, self motivated Director of Development to join our team.

The Director of Development reports to the President/CEO and will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and working with the President/CEO, Board Members, organizational staff and other stakeholders to advance St. Coletta's fundraising program.
  • Designing and implementing fundraising donor development activities, such as annual giving campaigns, fundraising events, planned giving, major gifts, grants and direct mail programs to meet budget goals and build reserves.
  • Attending community events, meetings, or conferences to promote and achieve organizational goals, solicit donations or sponsorships.
  • Contacting corporate representatives, government officials or community leaders to cultivate long-term relationships and increase awareness of St. Coletta’s mission, activities, or needs.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to expand St. Coletta's donor base.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, plus 5 or more years of development experience, preferably including fundraising, volunteer and staff management, strategic planning and personal gift solicitation. Successful candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability with the philanthropic community to raise major gifts, and ability to relate to a variety of internal and external constituents. Working knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge software is a plus.

Friends Aware Inc., a non-profit organization serving individuals with intellectual disabilities is searching for Finance Director – Cumberland, MD.

Is responsible for providing financial leadership for the Agency by working with the Executive Director, the Finance Committee and the Administration Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. S/he establishes and maintains a complete, accurate, and systematic set of records for the financial transactions in all programs; oversees the receipt and disbursement of funds; submits accurate fiscal reports and documents in a timely manner. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting and minimum of five years of full-time experience paralleling the major duties of this position is required. Experience in non-profit accounting and/or State of MD DDA accounting is helpful.

Dungarvin, a national provider of residential services to individuals with developmental disabilities, is seeking 3 new Directors to lead our services in south central, western and eastern Wisconsin. These positions provide oversight to services provided in the Baraboo, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, Portage and WI Rapids areas.

The Directors are responsible for all facets of operations, included but not limited to, supervision of frontline managers and assuring all service and support systems result in delivery of high quality services. Successful candidates must posses strong abilities in financial management and budgeting, as well as a keen sense of risk management. These positions require frequent travel, involving regular overnight stays, and flexibility with work hours. Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, management experience in an organization serving people with disabilities, and financial management experience required. Excellent starting salary and comprehensive benefits package available.
