Strategically Implementing Technology in Your Organization, Step 1: Know What's Out There

Date:
Thursday, December 15, 2011 - 1:00pm - 2:15pm

Description

Organizations that provide services and supports to individuals with intellectual, developmental or cognitive disabilities must change to survive. Today, long-term care providers are seeing a growing demand for out-of-home placement and more extensive in-home services and supports. Waiting lists for services continue to grow across the country, and service organizations will be lucky if funding resources only stagnate, instead of shrinking.

This webinar is the first in a series of webinars to introduce a strategic process for helping providers incorporate technology into their organizations to strategically succeed in an ever-changing world. Combined, these webinars will cover the five steps an organization should follow: education, prioritization, planning, implementation and maintenance.

Attendees will come away with a general knowledge of enterprise applications, remote monitoring systems and individual assistive and adaptive applications that have been successfully deployed to enhance consumer independence and better direct and manage organizational services and support resources.
