Sponsorships/Exchanges
- ANCOR
members may contribute financial support to sponsor the international
initiatives and programs being carried out by other ANCOR members.
Opportunities for sponsorship are presently available in
Russia,Romania, Moldova, Latvia, Dominican Republic and Brazil.
- ANCOR
members may provide volunteers,sponsor two-way staff exchanges and/or
develop opportunities for networking with nongovernmental organizations
(NGOs) and sister agencies running programs internationally.
Study Feasibility Tours
- ANCOR members can join organized tours of foreign NGOs to assess needs and begin the process of establishing relationships.
- ANCOR
members may choose to contribute to NGOs and sister agencies as a
result of participating in a an international study group.
Advocacy/Networking/Consultation and Training
- ANCOR professional
staff members, in partnership with ANCOR member agencies or
independently, will assist foreign NGOs in creating service provider
networks, trade organizations or advocacy groups within their
respective countries.
Emergency Response Assistance
- The ANCOR
International Committee will assist in mobilizing professional staff
members to respond to man-made tragedies such as the massacre in the
Beslan, Russia middle school or to natural disasters such as
earthquakes.
- The International
Committee will assist in directing the financial support and materials
contributed by ANCOR member agencies to specific projects defined by
donor agency request.
