Obama Issues Executive Order to Increase Federal Employment of Individuals with Disabilities

President Obama issued Executive Order 13548 “Increasing Federal Employment of Individuals with Disabilities”. President Obama references that individuals with disabilities represent less than 1 percent of the federal workforce, the Nation’s largest employer. He outlines goals targeted to both increase recruitment and hiring of individuals with disabilities, and increase retention of individuals with disabilities.
