CR Passed That Funds Government to March 18

Congress passed a continuing resolution that will fund the government through March 18. The bill cuts $4 billion from current discretionary spending, including $1.2 billion from eight terminated programs and $2.7 billion from earmarks. The proposal would immediately implement some of President Obama’s proposals, which increases the changes of getting it through the Senate.
