CR Passed Late Friday Prevents Shut Down

Friday night Congress passed a Continuing Resolution that will allow the government to remain open. The deal cut $78.5 billion from President Obama’s FY2011 Budget request. House and Senate Appropriations staffers are still working on the details of the spending cuts. The details are expected to be released Monday evening.
