Senate to Vote on Ryan Budget Resolution

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said he will hold a vote on Representative Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) budget plan when Congress returns from recess. The vote will serve as a test for Senate Republicans on whether they support Ryan’s budget cuts, which include a proposal to block grant Medicaid.

 

Reid did not specify an exact time line for when he plans to hold the vote on the Ryan budget.
