Money Follows the Person Planning Grants Available

Last week, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced the availability of another round of planning grants of up to $200,000 each for states that are still not participating in Money Follows the Person. Currently, 43 states and and the District of Columbia are participating in the program.

However, if you are in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Montana, South Dakota, Utah, or Wyoming, this is an opportunity for your state to receive funding. The deadline to apply for a planning grant is March 6. 

The planning grant will help states prepare their applications for an Money Follows the Person award that will be announced later this year.
