Scan Foundation Releases Two Medicaid Issue Briefs

The Scan Foundation has released two new policy briefs.  

The first brief, entitled "The Importance of Federal Financing to the Nation's Long-Term Care Safety Net," was written in conjunction with Georgetown University.  The brief discusses the importance of Medicaid, funding limitations for long-term care, and ways to strengthen Medicaid.  

The second brief, entitled "Financial Alignment Models for Medicare-Medicaid Enrollees: Considerations for Reimbursement," was written in conjunction with the Center for Health Care Strategies. The brief discusses reimbursement rates and incentives for those that use Medicaid and Medicare.
