ANCOR Delegation to Participate in Inclusion International’s 2018 World Congress in United Kingdom

ALEXANDRIA, VA — ANCOR (the American Network of Community Options and Resources) announced this morning that a delegation from the association’s International Council will represent ANCOR at the upcoming Inclusion International 2018 World Congress in Birmingham, United Kingdom. ANCOR is a new member of Inclusion International, a network of people with intellectual disabilities and their families advocating for the human rights of people with intellectual disabilities worldwide.

Reinitiated in 2016, ANCOR’s International Council seeks to address the global interests and needs of the association’s expanding membership, which is currently comprised of 1,400+ providers of supports and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Council engages in relationship building, discerns and shares best practices in the disability services industry, examines strategies for retaining and growing the direct support workforce, and more.
