Five State Teams Picked for ANCOR Managed Care Grant

August 11, 2017

Starting in mid-2016, ANCOR partnered with the National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities (NASUAD)  for a grant from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) to ensure community-based organizations serving people with disabilities are part of the evolving service delivery system and that their significant knowledge and experience serving people with disabilities is preserved.

As part of this grant, ANCOR is pleased to announce the five state teams selected for participation in the Disability Network Business Acumen Learning Collaborative.

The five State teams represent Maryland, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York and Texas. We are delighted to unveil the following participating members:

Missouri

Easter Seals Midwest

Emmaus Homes

Center for Human Services

New Hampshire

Gateways Community Services, as a member of the Community Support Network, Inc.

and several New York members affiliated with:

Person Centered Services of Western New York, Advance Care Alliance, LIFEPlan CCO NY, Hamaspik Choice, Inc., Care Coordination Partners of NY (CCPNY), Mid Hudson Care Network, and Care Design NY.

These teams will work together to develop and implement business-related strategies to state-specific challenges to integrating long term services and supports and healthcare services. Collectively, these teams will share what they learn from their efforts including promising practices that can be used to help other CBOs enhance their current business relationships and diversify their business portfolios. The learning collaborative will launch at the 2017 HCBS Conference being held in Baltimore, MD, August 27 – 31.
