The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has given final approval to the state of Idaho’s Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) State Transition Plan (STP). This makes Idaho the ninth state to receive final approval, along with Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Washington and Wyoming. The District of Columbia’s plan has also received final approval. ANCOR will continue to keep members informed of additional approvals and any developments with the rule.  CMS is still waiting on internal clearance for impending new guidance on the heightened scrutiny process.
