MFP Vote Tomorrow – ANCOR Asks House to Renew Program

In breaking news this morning, ANCOR learned that the U.S. House of Representatives will be voting to renew the Money Follows the Person (MFP) program for 3 months on December 11, 2018. The bill to renew MFP for three months is the IMPROVE Act, H.R. 7217. Given the importance of the MFP program, ANCOR supports the IMPROVE Act because it will allow the MFP program to remain viable into the new (116th) Congress, which takes office in January. At that point, advocates will be able to ask for a longer renewal. To get us to that point, ANCOR encourages our members to contact their U.S. Representatives throughout December 10 and December 11 by phone or by email to ask them to vote YES on H.R. 7217.
