NEW FEATURE: ANCOR Bi-Weekly EVV Good Faith Exemption Update

Starting this week, we will be sharing biweekly updates on which states have requested good faith delays on electronic visit verification (EVV) implementation from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The implementation of EVV is scheduled to begin in a bit over three months, on January 2020, unless a state has had their request for a good faith delay approved. ANCOR has encouraged members to advocate to their states to ask for a good faith extensions because of significant challenges that remain to be resolved regarding the implementation of the EVV statute. CMS has created and shared a list of state delay requests and their status; we will be sharing updates in this publication for the convenience of our members.

Approved delay requests:

  • Alabama
  • Iowa
  • Rhode Island

  • Wisconsin
