Dr. Tamber is the Co-Founder and CEO of Bridging Health & Community, a Seattle-based nonprofit that expands upon social determinants of health to lead health sector transformation from the perspective that a community’s and individual’s agency play vital roles in a sustainable health sector. ANCOR invited Dr. Tamber to lead a discussion on: re-imagining a health sector that shifts from a narrow bio-medical perspective to defining health from the perspective of what individuals and communities value; how to design health sector interventions based on those values; and what we can measure to determine success or failure in health.
