2025 Leadership Development Committee Election
This year, full ANCOR members will be asked to elect two members of the Leadership Development Committee to serve a two-year term starting October 1, 2025. The Leadership Development Committee (LDC) is a standing committee under ANCOR’s Bylaws that is responsible for recruiting and developing ANCOR’s leadership, as well as conducting elections. Due to these responsibilities, members of the LDC must be active and engaged ANCOR members for a minimum of three years and be well-connected within the national I/DD community.
Incumbent members Kathy Carmody (Institute on Public Policy for People with Disabilities, Chicago, IL) and Matt Sturiale (Birch Family Services, New York, NY) have expressed their intent to run for re-election. Ms. Carmody and Mr. Sturiale are both eligible to serve a second term, and their candidacies are endorsed by ANCOR’s Leadership Development Committee.
Although the Leadership Development Committee endorses the incumbent nominees, interested and eligible individuals are welcome to nominate themselves or others.
