Jill Jones Borak is the Director of Federal Relations at ANCOR, where she leads the organization’s federal legislative and administrative initiatives.
Jill is an advocate and attorney with more than a dozen years of experience on social and economic justice issues. Some of Jill's career highlights include helping to pass landmark child health insurance legislation while at the Children’s Defense Fund; receiving recognition at the White House for her work in the fight to raise the federal minimum wage; and leading a team that launched 500 digital campaigns, with a total of 20 million supporters, in a single year. She has worked on multiple presidential campaigns and at a variety of nonprofit organizations and is proud to bring her background in government relations, advocacy, and public policy to ANCOR.
Jill received her law degree from the American University Washington College of Law. She lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her three children.
