UCP Issues Response to Pending Deportation of Child with Cerebral Palsy

Various major media outlets have reported on the detainment of Rosa Maria Hernandez, a 10 year old girl with Cerebral Palsy, who has been detained by federal immigration authorities in Texas.  ANCOR member United Cerebral Palsy has issued this press release reacting to the detainment. Senator Feinstein (D-CA) has also condemned the detainment of the child and has formally requested Homeland Security to intervene.
