ANCOR’s 2017 Workforce Report Cited in Philadelphia Inquirer Series on IDD Services

The Philadelphia Inquirer has released a four-part series on the underfunding of IDD services in Pennsylvania, describes the situations individuals with IDD face once they graduate from supports and services offered by the public school system. Part 2 focuses on the challenge of finding good supports and services, citing ANCOR’s report on the workforce crisis among its sources and highlighting the work of Pennsylvania members and the state association, PAR.

The author of the series, Ronnie Polaneczky, will be featured in an NADSP webinar on January 4, 2018 for those interested in hearing more about her experience writing the series.
