In conjunction with our Policy Summit and Hill Day, ANCOR and the Office of U.S. Representative Debbie Dingell (D-MI) will host a briefing on Capitol Hill. The briefing will discuss why now is an ideal time to improve home and community-based services (HCBS) infrastructure and access for populations with significant unmet needs. Speakers representing congressional disability champions will lay out their offices’ plans to help states shift away from heavy reliance on institutions and to leverage technology to improve outcomes. They will discuss legislation to accomplish these objectives by improving upon the successful bipartisan Balancing Incentive Program (BIP), a five-year infrastructure grant program that impacted HCBS systems from 2011-2015.

This event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration by October 15 is required. Register for ANCOR’s Congressional Briefing on the HCBS Infrastructure Act.
