We are sharing notice of this hearing by the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over Medicaid, because of the importance of the Autism CARES Act and Lifespan Respite Care Reauthorization Act has for the intellectual / developmental disability (I/DD) community. A video of this hearing will be available live and also archived for viewing afterwards. (Note that ANCOR hopes to see additional adult autism supports added to the Autism CARES Act before passage. We hope to see discussion of this at the below hearing.)

The Health Subcommittee of the Committee on Energy and Commerce will hold a legislative hearing on Tuesday, June 25, at 10 am in room 2322 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing is entitled, “Reauthorizing Vital Health Programs for American Families.”
