President Signs 3-Month MFP Renewal for Which ANCOR Advocated

Renewing the Money Follows the Person (MFP) program has been an ANCOR priority issue because of its importance in moving people with disabilities into the community, and out of state-run institutions. The White House announcement copied below, sharing that the President has signed the three-month renewal bill Congress passed last week, shows how effective the advocacy of ANCOR, its members, and our disability partners is. Congratulations, advocates!

Because this is a short-term renewal, ANCOR will be continuing legislative discussions for a longer-term renewal. We will keep members informed of opportunities for further action.
