RESOURCE: The Congressional Committees You Need to Know – Did Your Member Make the Cut?

To advance issues affecting people with disabilities and the providers who support them, ANCOR urges its members to reach out to the new members Congressional committees with jurisdiction on health issues, including Medicaid, and strengthen existing relationships with veteran committee members. For the convenience of ANCOR members, our lobbyists with ML Strategies have compiled a list of relevant health committee members, which you can access here. Additionally, we recommend our members look at the House Education and Labor Committee composition, which oversees issues affect the U.S. workforce and employers.

Both the House and Senate have been voting on which members of Congress get to sit on these influential committees over the past week. Not all committee assignments have been officially announced yet so please stay tuned for more ANCOR articles on this topic.
