Budget & Appropriations

The federal budget is much more than the federal government’s spending and revenue plan, it represents our nation’s priorities. Through both discretionary and entitlement spending, the federal budget and appropriations process provides funding  for  research, education, housing, food stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, SSI and other programs essential to people with disabilities and their families.

ANCOR closely tracks this process, and advocates for responsible levels of funding to finance the federal government’s role in providing essential supports, services, and benefits for people with disabilities and their families.
