At a launch event at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, in early February, the ANCOR Foundation’s Included. Supported. Empowered. campaign and United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) joined forces to release the Case for Inclusion 2020, a comprehensive look at how well state programs are serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Since then, we’ve heard from ANCOR members, UCP affiliates and other advocates from around the country that they want to learn more about the data and how it can be used to make the case for deeper investments in the long-term supports and services people with I/DD rely on to be part of the community.

Hearing this feedback, UCP and the ANCOR Foundation are pleased to co-host a free webinar next Thursday, February 27, from 3-4 pm EST. During the webinar, participants will learn about the key findings from this year’s Case for Inclusion, hear some creative ways to leverage the data and its accompanying resources to advance our shared advocacy, and have the opportunity to ask questions of the presenters.

Speakers include:

  • Armando Contreras, President & CEO, UCP
  • Sean Luechtefeld, Ph.D., Communications Director, ANCOR
  • Shannon McCracken, Vice President of Government Relations, ANCOR

This one-hour webinar is free and open to any interested parties, but advanced registration is required. Register today.
