Success Through Satisfaction: Fostering DSP Loyalty

What is it that inspires such loyalty among Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at New Horizons Resources? Could it be the strategic application of its unifying principles: integrity, positive relationships, respect, innovation and learning?

The organization has worked hard to become known as an organization that cares about and respects DSPs. This approach contributes to New Horizons' success in staff retention, stability and reduced turnover.

In this session, the presenters will share their efforts promoting DSP development, DSP professionalism and greater DSP participation in organizational development. DSP-C Cathy Civile will also reflect on how attaining her DSP credential from the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals has impacted her work and her commitment to developing the profession.
