HEAT Seeks Support to Include DD Curriculum in Medical Training

The Health is for Everyone: Action Team (HEAT), led by the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) has been working to garner support from members of the American Medical Association House of Delegates to support a resolution that would include developmental disabilities curriculum in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education of physicians. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has taken the lead to be the initial sponsor of the resolution. HEAT is asking organizations on social media to spread the word and help in garnering support.
