Quality Services

Person-centered. Inclusive. Accessible. ANCOR supports providers to deliver the highest-quality services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

About This Priority

Whether or not we have a disability, the human experience means we all dream about achieving the same things. Meaningful relationships with friends and family. Choices about where we live and who we live with. Options for spending our days in ways that we find fulfilling. Opportunities to think big and pursue our goals. When it comes to transforming these dreams into reality, we all need support in some form or another. For people with disabilities, however, in order to access those same dreams, the support needed sometimes looks a little different.

That’s where community providers come in.

From residential programs, such as those that support people to live in their own home or in a group home, to day programs, such as those that support people to maintain employment or volunteer in the community, community providers deliver high-quality services that make all the difference in the world for the people who accept them.

That’s why ANCOR is committed to providing timely, relevant resources to build the capacity of providers to deliver the highest-quality services possible. Because at the end of the day, it’s all about supporting providers to support people in community.
