Updates on HBCS Settings Rule and Transition Plans

Our coalition partners have shared that in addition to Indiana’s State Transition Plan (STP) now being available, four more states are likely to release their updated STPs for public comment. Note that Idaho just closed public comment on June 30. States are amending their STPs and sending them out for public comment in response to feedback from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on changes needed before the plans can receive final approval. The four states are:

  • Connecticut
  • New Hampshire
  • Rhode Island
  • West Virginia
