As an update on this previous article, ANCOR is thrilled to share that 23 U.S. Representatives signed onto a bipartisan letter by U.S. Representative Rob Woodall (R-GA) to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The letter asked that CMS “use its regulatory authority to extend the timeframe in which states are allowed to issue retainer payments to qualifying Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) providers for the duration of the COVID-19 public health emergency.” U.S. Representative Woodall acted as a result of strong advocacy by ANCOR members such as SPADD in Georgia, and the advocacy of members such as yourself helped secure the support of the letter’s co-signers. Read the final letter to see all the signatories.

We will continue to keep our members informed of opportunities such as this one.
