As shared by APSE:

“How do we continue to support and promote Employment First during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) public health crisis? Does this create opportunities for us to try new ways of doing business to assure the health and safety of supported workers, their employers and direct support workers?

The use of virtual technology may offer some answers and may help us create innovative ways to support workers. During this one-hour webinar, join us to hear lessons learned from two pilot projects aimed at providing remote employment supports via the use of virtual technology.

You will hear examples of effective strategies for providing virtual job coaching and job development supports, and techniques for training and supporting employment specialists and supported workers to use available tools.

Together, even in this time of crisis, we can continue to promote Employment First principles and enhance the quality of what we do today and for the future!

Watch the recorded version.”
