Additional Federal COVID-19 Resources from OSHA, CMS & CDC

For the convenience of our members as they work to ensure the well-being of individuals with disabilities during the coronavirus outbreak, below we list new content shared by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on tools and flexibilities available within Medicaid. Note that these resources will also be available on ANCOR COVID-19 Resource Center, along with more educational and state-specific content.

• CMS requirement that nursing homes report COVID-19 cases to the CDC
• Updated return to work guidance elaborating on when asymptomatic HCW can return to work.
• CDC guidance for Universal Source Control. While this content is specific for healthcare settings, which does not include group homes, readers might it useful to adopt components that could work for their programs.
