Administration Previews Regulatory Agenda

Last week the Trump Administration shared its Spring Unified Regulatory Agenda providing an outline of what they plan to do in regards to regulations over the course of the next year: https://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/eAgendaMain

ANCOR wants to note the following planned regulations for its members:

• The Department of Health And Human Services (HHS) is planning to issue a proposed rule on HIPAA in July 2019 (note that ANCOR weighed into a Request for Information on this topic earlier this year).
• The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) plan to finalize a revamped Managed Care LTSS rule in October 2019.
• CMS  announced for the first time that they plan to issue a proposed rule on Medicaid eligibility reform in April 2020.
• The Department of Defense is launching a pilot on employment of people with disabilities in September 2019.
• The Department of Transportation plans to issue an advanced notice of proposed rulemaking on rail transportation and accessibility in December 2019.
• The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission plans to revisit ADA and employment issues in December 2019.
