ANCOR Leads Coalition Letter to Biden Administration on Public Health Emergency Declaration; Administration Responds with Upcoming Webinar

Last week, the Disability and Aging Collaborative sent a letter signed by 30 additional stakeholder partners to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The letter, which was co-authored by ANCOR, urges HHS and CMS to provide at least 120 days’ advanced notice when it intends to end the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) declaration.

In response to the letter, CMS and HHS, through the Administration for Community Living (ACL) have offered to host a webinar for interested disability and aging stakeholders providing response and information to plan for the end of the public health emergency. The webinar will take place on April 4 from 2:30-3:30pm ET. You can join the webinar, register online.
