ANCOR Submits Comments to CMS on ICF Interim Vaccine Reporting Rule

ANCOR submitted public comment on an interim final rule by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, proposing that Intermediate Care Facility providers submit data regarding vaccination among people supported and staff via the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). At this time, vaccine reporting is voluntary for ICFs.

ANCOR worked with its members to solicit robust comments on topics such as the administrative burden and complexities of learning and utilizing a database currently intended for nursing facilities. The comments also emphasize the state of the workforce crisis.
