ANCOR to Host Congressional Briefing on the Direct Support Workforce Crisis

This week, ANCOR will host a virtual bipartisan Congressional briefing to highlight the findings from ANCOR’s latest survey, the State of America’s Direct Support Workforce Crisis 2022. The briefing will discuss the results of the survey, which reveal that this long-standing workforce crisis has intensified to a level where individuals’ access to services is in jeopardy.

The panel will feature ANCOR staff, provider members, and direct support professionals. Congressional co-sponsors of the briefing are Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), and Representative Debbie Dingell (D-MI).

The briefing will be held on November 3 at 1 pm EDT and is open to ANCOR members. Please register in advance to join the briefing.
