Briefing in Congress on Disability Issues in FCC on July 11

As a new member of the Clear2Connect Coalition, a coalition of organizations dedicated to disability issues in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), this week ANCOR will be attending a Clear2Connect briefing (details below) on communications technologies.

Capitol Hill Briefing

  • When: Thursday, July 11th from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM (ET)
  • Where: Cannon House Office Building – Room #122 (27 Independence Ave SE, Washington, DC 20003)

U.S. Representatives Yvette Clarke (D-NY) and Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) will kick off the meeting. They will be followed by members of a coalition, then a user of the communications systems IP CTS will speak. The briefing will conclude with a demonstration of IP CTS and also Automatic Speech Recognition, to demonstrate how IP CTS is more accurate and effective.
