The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a new Informational Bulletin on November 6, 2025 that instructs states how to address cases where people appear to be enrolled in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in more than one state at the same time.
