CMS Publishes Complete List of State Plans for American Rescue Plan HCBS Funds

On Thursday, CMS published its list of states’ plans for how to use American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act funds: Strengthening and Investing in Home and Community Based Services for Medicaid Beneficiaries: American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 Section 9817 Spending Plans and Narratives. The website includes a table which provides each state’s initial spending plan and narrative, information on whether the state has been approved to claim the FMAP increase under ARP section 9817, information on whether the proposed activities in the spending plan have been approved by CMS, and letters that CMS has issued in response to the state’s spending plan and narrative.
