As announced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services:

“The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is publishing the 2020 version of the Coordination of Benefits/Third Party Liability in Medicaid handbook (COB/TPL).  In 2016 CMS issued the handbook as a general overview of COB/TPL policy on a variety of individual subjects.  The 2020 version has been updated to account for recent statutory changes made by the Medicaid Services Investment and Accountability Act of 2019, 2016-17 ICD 10 changes, and Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018/19, and to also clarify existing handbook information.

Questions related to the handbook material should be sent to Cathy Sturgill via email at [email protected]
