Congratulations to PAR for Winning Emmy with DSP Video

ANCOR wishes to congratulate its member PAR for winning the Mid-Atlantic Region Human Interest Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences!

As shared by PAR: “The video, first released in February 2017, shows the devastating effects of the Direct Support Professional (DSP) workforce crisis through the eyes of those most impacted – DSPs, family members, and individuals with intellectual disability or autism (ID/A). Parent advocate Cheryl Dougan, her son Renzo, and Renzo’s DSP Joe are featured in the story along with Keya, a DSP who is the sole source of income for her family.”
