Congress Returns Next Week – Budget Showdown Expected

This is just a note that Congress returns from its August recess next Monday, September 9. The big ticket item to address is the FY 2020 budget which needs to be finalized by the end of September. However, there are no more than 13 legislative days on the calendar to get this done.  As previously reported, ANCOR is tracking a Medicaid Extenders package which may include Money Follows the Person (MFP) extenders and possibly some EVV language. The package could move with a completed budget or a continuing resolution (CR).
