CQL Releases White Paper on Supported Decision Making

On July 28, the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) released a white paper, “Supported Decision Making in the United States“. The purpose of this white paper is to synthesize published literature that might apply to use of supported decision making within the United States, describing policy, procedure, and practice approaches of supported decision making, as well as any pertinent empirical evidence to provide insight and inform stakeholder groups of best practices and benefits of supported decision making over other forms of legal representation. Legal manuscripts, government documents, as well as grey literature were also included to expand the review.
