Healthcare Reform Remains on Administration’s Mind

This week the President and some of his senior staff criticized Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell over not passing health care reform. Because the issue remains a topic of importance to the President, it is possible it will re-emerge in the fall when Congress returns from its August recess. Though it is unclear whether Medicaid reform will be included in a health care reform package, ANCOR recommends providers continue to educate Members of Congress on the importance of Medicaid.
