HHS and Long-Term Care Facilities Continue to Engage on COVID-19 Vaccination Policies

Last week, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra met with leaders of national long-term care facility organizations, including those from LeadingAge and the American Health Care Association (AHCA). The meeting represents ongoing engagement between the administration and industry leaders to adequately address COVID-19 in congregate settings while also acknowledging the challenges facilities face in ensuring vaccination.
