The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is responsible for ensuring program integrity within Medicare and Medicaid. Medicaid covers the majority of disability supports in the United States.

As announced by HHS OIG:

“In an effort to efficiently guide the public through the HHS healthcare waste, fraud, and abuse complaint reporting process, HHS OIG’s Hotline Operations launched a new, redesigned webpage.

Features include:

  • A new, mobile-friendly form for reporting HHS whistleblower reprisal complaints.
  • An intuitive form that guides the user through the process for reporting fraud, waste, and abuse in HHS programs.
  • Easy-to-follow instructions for determining which form to file a tip or complaint.
  • Prompts to guiding users through the process of submitting a tip or complaint.
