According to Politico Pro:

“The HHS [Department of Health and Human Services] office overseeing public health will overhaul its strategic plan for the first time in a decade — a process that could include changes to its policy agenda.

Assistant Secretary for Health Brett Giroir told staffers today that senior policy adviser Valerie Huber will lead the project. She will solicit input from inside and outside the agency, including from the private sector.

A representative for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health confirmed that the ‘strategic planning process’ is getting underway, but did not offer specifics on the project’s goals or timeline.”

ANCOR is sharing this story because of its general interest in HHS’ policy agenda development.
