Politico Pro shares the latest legal update on this issue:
“Two legal aid groups are suing to block a Medicaid work requirement in Indiana, the latest in a string of lawsuits challenging the Trump administration’s overhaul of the coverage program for the poor.
Indiana’s work requirement was approved in early 2018 and has gradually been rolled out this year. The state initially adopted a conservative version of Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion four years ago under then-Gov. Mike Pence.
The lawsuit, brought by the National Health Law Program and Indiana Legal Services on behalf of four Medicaid beneficiaries, was filed in the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia. That’s the same court where a federal judge has blocked similar Medicaid work rules in Arkansas, Kentucky and New Hampshire.

HHS has approved Medicaid work requirements in nine states, and some have been granted as the administration continues fighting litigation.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia will hear oral arguments next month to consider the Arkansas and Kentucky decisions.”
