The Next Frontier:

Changing the Rules of Medicaid, with Keynoter Josh Trent!

If you had the chance to talk to the person who wrote the legislation on new electronic visit verification (EVV) requirements, what would you ask? What about if you could talk to the person that worked on per capita cap models during the heated health care debates in 2017?

Well, wonder no more, because this isn’t a hypothetical scenario: Josh Trent, a major Medicaid gamechanger on Capitol Hill who, among other initiatives, led the development of EVV legislation and per capita cap proposals, will be keynoting the 2019 Policy Summit and Hill Day!

In addition to serving as Chief Health Counsel for Chairman Greg Walden of the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Trent spent nearly five years as a health care policy advisor for U.S. Senator Tom Coburn [R-OK] and served in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel under the Bush Administration. Now, as a principal with a major health care lobbying firm, Trent is looking at new ways to think about federal health care policy, how to rethink the programs of today and what opportunities exist to create the Medicaid of tomorrow.

Do not miss Josh’s session on the future of Medicaid — and the pivotal role he sees providers playing!
